The Messy Middle – Normal Ups and Downs vs Red Flags

What you’ll get from this session:

  • Why “not feeling like yourself” after birth doesn’t always mean you’re failing, it might just mean your nervous system is overloaded.

  • How to spot the early signs that you’re outside your emotional comfort zone (before things spiral).

  • Why asking for help isn’t a last resort, it’s one of the strongest things you can do for yourself and your baby.

  • Learn a simple model (the Window of Tolerance) that helps you understand your ups and downs, and what your body’s trying to tell you.

  • Reflect on where you are today using a gentle “check-in spectrum”… no right or wrong, just noticing.

  • Talk about who you could reach out to if things start to feel too heavy or flat for too long.
